Fan Settings
Fan X Type;
default := Type 1;
This is very simple. Some fan's give 1 puls per second, others give 2, if your fan seems to be double the speed from the bios then select Type 2.
Fan X Div;
default := 2;
The default setting of the chip is 2, this works on 90% of the fan's, if however you have a Case fan installed and it's a slow fan, it might show up as N/A in MBM, in that case you should try selecting 3 or 4 and see if the chip can detect the fan then.
Ignore Fan Alarm X Times;
default := 5;
This option will help if you use the Suspend mode of your computer, it will make sure that the 1st X times a fan alarm is raised it will be ignored. The default is 5, together with the default interval time of 5 seconds this means that the fan will be ignored 5x5=25 seconds before the alarm goes off. This should give you enough time to recover from a suspend mode
